On Saturday, August 2, 2008, the Social Committee hosted HAWL's Bouncing on the Beach. This is the second year that the Social Committee, along with volunteers, has hosted this event for neighborhood children ages 2-12. There were numerous activities for the children to take part in, such as a fun jumper, slide, contests, a raffle, and activity booths. Each child was supplied with twelve free tickets for the activity booths. Aside from the activities, food and beverages were also available for purchase.
