Hide-A-Way Lake Response to Coronavirus
Bulletin #2

Hide-A-Way Lake continues to take precautions as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve. Please read the following actions, as we all must work together with the following:

•   Help is needed from Property Owners and Parents. So far this week we have had large groups of teenagers at the beach showing 100% disregard over the CDC requirements of gatherings having a maximum of 10 people remaining at least 6 feet apart. Please help as all Common Grounds remain open. You must help protect your family/children. Security is instructed to break up any large group for safety concerns. If there is non-compliance by the group, the entire group will be sent off of the property. On Thursday, March 19, 2020, vandalism was done to Property Owners’ mailboxes and the restroom at the beach area. This will not be tolerated and must stop immediately. Curfew is being enforced which is Sunday – Thursday from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am and Friday and Saturday from 12:00 am – 5:00 am. PROPERTY OWNERS AND PARENTS- THIS IN AN AREA OF CONCERN. Please contact security immediately if you see anything that causes concern for the safety of the community.

•   Our staff is here and prepared and will continue to provide services to the community. The safety of our staff and property owners is a priority above all else, now and always. The Office is open regular office hours, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Please call the Office at 601-798-1484 or contact them by email at office@hawlms.net as most business can be conducted over the phone or via email. EFFECTIVE MARCH 20, 2020, the Office/lobby area is limited to ONE PERSON AT A TIME. A personal space of 6 feet should be maintained between all individuals. Please DO NOT ENTER if you are experiencing ANY type of illness. You can sign-up for online payments by submitting an ACH Form which is found under the forms tab on the HAWL website. Utilize the locked drop box at the Front Main Gate to drop off payments and Office correspondence. IF YOU MUST COME INTO THE OFFICE, PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT OR YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT. All Hide-A-Way Lake group events (WOW group, exercise groups, men’s club, card groups, etc.) as well as committee meetings have been cancelled.

•   The Restaurant (Waters Edge) will be open for takeout only, no dine-in, with daily specials and a limited menu. Please call Waters Edge during normal operating hours to place your takeout order. Call the Restaurant when you arrive and the Restaurant will bring your order to the parking lot for curbside pick-up. You can pay directly or Property Owners may charge to your account. Over 50 plates were served yesterday.

•   For all medical calls, contact 911 before contacting HAWL Security in the appropriate situations. Security will wait for ambulance/EMT assistance at your residence. The Front Main Gate visitor lane will continue to scan/verify driver’s licenses. Please help reduce the number of unneeded guests. All gate rules and entrance policies are in effect.

•   The Information Boards at the Front Main Gate and the Southgate will be used to provide additional information and guidance as necessary.

All of the above actions will remain in place for the next seven days. We will continue to monitor this situation. Your safety as well as that of our staff is of upmost importance. This response is out of concern for our community. Please remain calm, follow guidelines, and continue to pray for our community as I will.

Thank you.
