Hide-A-Way Lake Response to Coronavirus
Bulletin #3

Hide-A-Way Lake continues to take precautions as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve. As of yesterday, our county currently has 13 cases. Please follow all CDC and government requirements as we all must do our part during this evolving time. Visit msdh.ms.gov or contact the Mississippi Coronavirus Hotline at 877-978-6453 for more information. It is my prayer that all of you and your families are well and this is over soon. I want to assure you that we are here - all departments: Office, Security, Maintenance, Restaurant, and Water. Please read the following actions that are currently in place:

•   Thank you Property Owners and Parents. We have seen a reduction since the last bulletin on large groups. Common Grounds remain open for you to enjoy, but please follow the CDC requirements of gatherings having a maximum of 10 people remaining at least 6 feet apart. Security is instructed to breakup any non-compliant group. If there is continued non-compliance by the group, the entire group will be sent off of the property. Again, thank you but please continue to exercise caution. Please contact Security immediately if you see anything that causes concern.
•   The HAWL Office is open regular office hours, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Contact the Office at 601-798-1484 or by email at office@hawlms.net as most business can be conducted over the phone or via email. The Office area is limited to only one person at a time and personal space of six feet must be maintained between all individuals. See Echoes for information on signing up for online ACH payments and for our email newsletter Happenings In HAWL. If you must come into the Office, please call to schedule an appointment time or you may have to wait. Utilize the locked drop box at the Front Main Gate or the new locked drop box by the restaurant entrance to drop off payments and Office correspondence.
•   All groups, meetings, and events (Board meetings, Committee meetings, WOW, exercise groups, Men’s Club, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunt, Flea Market, etc.) have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.
•   For all medical calls, contact 911 first before contacting HAWL Security in the appropriate situations. Security will wait for ambulance/EMT assistance at your residence. All gate entrance rules/policies are still in effect. The gate will continue to scan/verify driver’s licenses for entry. Please help reduce the number of unneeded guests in the community.
•   Waters Edge Restaurant will be open for take-out orders only with great specials at great prices along with a limited menu. Simply call the Restaurant during operating hours to place your order and for curbside
pick-up. Check your email daily for the featured restaurant special.
•   Please follow all of the CDC and government requirements as we all must do our part during this evolving time.

All of the above actions will remain in place for the next seven days. We will continue to monitor this situation. Your safety as well as that of our staff is of upmost importance. This response is out of concern for our community. Please remain calm, follow guidelines, and continue to pray for our community as I will.

Thank you.
