MEMO TO HAWL PROPERTY OWNERS

SOUTHGATE EXIT CLOSURE - COURT RULING
On May 27th and 28th a trial was held in Pearl River Circuit Court to determine if HAWL residents have the right to use the Southgate for ingress and egress. The City of Picayune opposed our use of the gate except in emergency situations. Circuit Court Judge Prentiss Harrell ruled in favor of HAWL and found that HAWL residents do have the right to exit the Southgate onto Cooper Road!
Therefore, effective Monday, June 1, 2009, the Southgate Exit will be open for EXIT ONLY from 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Monday – Friday excluding holidays. No entrance will be allowed. HAWL speed limit is 25 mph and continues as 25 mph from our gate through Millbrook until the next posted speed limit sign says otherwise. Please abide by this speed limit and all other traffic laws as it will be enforced by both Picayune and Hide-A-Way. Also remember that these homeowners, while not a part of Hide-A-Way, are also our neighbors and should be treated with the same courtesy and consideration.
