Ron Scheuermann, Board of Director, presides over the Social Committee: the purpose of this group is to plan, organize, and implement social programs for HAWL residents. Your assistance is needed. Please contact Ron at 601-799-3795 to discuss forming future fun activities for the community to participate in. 
 
Dulcimer Club...
A newly organized group in the HAWL community devoted to learning to play the mountain dulcimer will meet in the downstairs Lodge conference room on Mondays from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Beginners/learners and all levels of musical ability are welcomed and encouraged.
Garden Club...
Whether you are an amateur gardener, a professional, or just interested in helping beautify our community, you are welcome to be a part of our gathering. Each month an informative program on gardening is presented. Meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 10:00 am in the HAWL Lodge (lower level). Low Intensity Aerobics...
Low Intensity Aerobics: Stretching, Strength Training. No floor exercise. At the firestation. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:10 am until 8:10 am. Call Ann Israel at 601-798-6335.
 

Water Aerobics...
Are you ready to shed inches, gain range of motion, and increase flexibility? The constant natural resistance of water incorporated with the latest techniques for strengthening cardiovascular training will have you feeling results after only a few classes! This is the perfect workout for overworked knees, elbows, and shoulders. Best of all, the classes are FREE, so what do you have to lose? Classes will begin May 18, 2010 and will be held Tuesday-Friday at 7:15 am and 8:15 am. These classes are for adults only and anyone interested should contact Ann Israel (601-798-6335) concerning the 7:15 am class and Bonnie Hughes (601-799-3497) concerning the 8:15 am class.
