Ballroom Dance Club...
The Ballroom Dance Club meets every Sunday in the downstairs area of the HAWL Lodge. The Beginner Class will meet at 3:00 pm and the Advanced Class will meet at 4:00 pm. A variety of dance styles will be taught including the Cha-Cha, Swing, Rumba, Tango, Waltz, and the Fox Trot. The cost to attend the class is only $5 per person and $8 per couple. Boy Scouts of America…
Meetings are held on Monday nights at 6:30 pm at the McNeill Volunteer Fire Department. Meetings can include sports, friendly competition, learning scouting skills, and advancement through merit badges. The Scoutmaster of the troop is Mr. Mark Glorioso, a resident of HAWL. Dulcimer Club…
A newly-organized group in the HAWL community devoted to learning to play the mountain dulcimer will meet in the downstairs Lodge conference room on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Self Defense Class…
These classes are for males and females ages 16 and up. Self defense against attacks such as being pushed, grabbed, choked, thrown to the ground, punched, and kicked will be taught over a period of 8 weeks. No special clothing will be required; t-shirt, loose jeans, and tennis shoes. Each class will cost $5 per person. Water Aerobics...
Are you ready to shed inches, gain range of motion, and increase flexibility? The constant, natural resistance of water incorporated with the latest techniques for strengthening cardiovascular training will have you feeling results after only a few classes! This is the perfect workout for overworked knees, elbows, and shoulders. Best of all, the classes are FREE, so what do you have to lose? Classes will begin May 17, 2011, and will be held Tuesday-Friday at 7:15 am and 8:15 am.
