 A New Night to Laugh

Unfortunately the Comedy Night, scheduled for Friday, March 26th and Saturday, March 27th, had to be cancelled due to lack of participation.

 

 

 St. Patrick's Day

Keep in mind that Waters Edge will be ready to assist you in celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a Corn Beef and Cabbage lunch! So, stop by the Lodge on March 17, 2010 from 11:00 am-2:30 pm in order to join the fun, and be sure to wear your green!

Easter Buffet

The Easter Buffet will be held on April 4, 2010 and will have two seatings available. The first seating will take place from 11:00 am-12:30 pm and the second seating will take place from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. The buffet will offer a variety of items that are sure to please the entire family! The buffet will include items such as Soup, Salad, Carved Roast Beef, Carved Ham, Bronzed Fish, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Chicken and Dumplings, Assorted Vegetables, Assorted Desserts, and Much More. The cost of the buffet is only $16.95 for Adults, $8.95 for Children 12 and under, and FREE for Children 4 and under. Please remember, reservations are required, and must be made by March 29, 2010. HAWL Dinner Theater

Don't miss this play! Several HAWL residents will be appearing in Squabbles and HAWL resident, Gladys Hughes, will be directing. Come support your local celebrities as they present another night of entertainment for you pleasure. Picayune On Stage is back for a dinner theater with a hilarious play that pits a father-in-law against a mother in a comedic succession of squabbles. Jerry Sloan is a successful writer of advertising jingles and is married to an equally successful lawyer. Living with the happy couple is the not so happy Abe Dreyfus, Jerry's curmudgeon of a father-in-law. Abe is a funny guy to the audience, not to Jerry. The situation is exacerbated when Jerry's mother, Mildred, loses her house in a fire and needs a place to stay. Abe and Mildred can't stand each other. This play is one hilarious confrontation after another.
This play will be held at Waters Edge Restaurant on Friday, April 16th and Saturday, April 17th. The doors open at 6:00 pm, dinner begins at 6:30 pm, and the play begins at 8:00 pm. The cost to attend is $33.30 per person (includes tax and gratuity). Make your reservations today by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Reservations must be made by April 9, 2010.

HAWL Flea Market is Back!

The HAWL Flea Market will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Lodge from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. The cost of each space (2 parking spaces) is only $10. Please note the following:

  • The "rain date" is scheduled for May 15, 2010.
  • Participants are required to supply their own tables.
  • Participants are required to remove all of their boxes and debris after the event.
  • Set-up cannot be done the night before the Flea Market.
  • Participants can begin setting up the day of the Flea Market at 6:00 am. Set-up must be completed by 7:30 am, at this time all vehicles will need to be removed from the area.

Mother's Day Buffet

It is that time of year again when we take time out of our busy schedules to thank Mom for all that she does to make our lives special. Waters Edge is here to help you make it a day to remember with great food and an atmosphere that will make her feel like a Queen.
The Mother's Day Buffet will have two seatings. The first seating will be held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm and the second seating will be held from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm.
