What is a Meet & Greet?
This is an oppurtunity for HAWL residents to come to the Lodge on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 4 pm to 6 pm in the bar room (next to the Waters Edge main dining hall), in order to sign-up for future social activites and to meet people of similar interests. Sign-up sheets will be set up by interest areas: such as card playing, dance lessons, fishing, and lots of other activities suggested on the Social Committee Interest Surveys (results can be found on page 7 of the July issue of Echoes). Once the names have been gathered, the Social Committee will help each interest group make contact for future activities. Come at your leisure to sign up.

Chinese Night Buffet
On August 23, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Waters Edge Restaurant will be hosting a Chinese Buffet Night. So, slip into your kimonos and join us as we head to the east to lands of mystery and magic! Don't miss out on this unique and delicious dinner buffet. Bring your friends and family for a night of fine dining with a wonderful view. The menu for the night will include: Soup, Salad Bar, Carved Teriyaki Steak, Sesame Chicken, Assorted Desserts, and Much More! The price of this buffet is only $10.95 for Adults, and children 12 and Under will eat for FREE!
"High School Musical" Pre-Teen Dance
On Saturday, September 20, 2008 the HAWL Lodge will 
be hosting a "High School Musical" Dance for pre-teens ages 11-14. The dance will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be refreshments, music, and a talent contest for attendees to participate in. The cost to attend the dance is only $12 per person. Anyone interested may call the HAWL office at
601-798-1484, in order to make reservations. All Reservations and/or Cancellations must be made by September 10, 2008. Also, volunteer chaperons are requested; anyone interested in volunteering may call the HAWL office.
Fall Flea Market at the Lodge
On Saturday, October 4, 2008 the Fall Flea Market will be held in the Lodge Parking Lot from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Spaces will be sold to property owners for $10 per space (equivalent to 2 parking spaces). Any property owner wishing to rent a space may contact the office at
601-798-1484. Reservations and/or Cancellations must be made by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, as space is limited. Please keep in mind that participants are responsible for providing their own tables; tables are no longer supplied by HAWL.
