Guest Entrance Policy
With this weekend being a busy time for the Front Main Gate, please ensure that all guests are pre-registered with the gate before they arrive. Use the app or the web portal for Gate Sentry to input your visitors into the system BEFORE they arrive at the gate. Please only use the phone call option when the app or web portal is not available to you. Phone calls must be from a phone number registered through the HAWL Office. WHEN CALLING, ONLY A MAXIMUM OF TWO GUESTS MAY BE REGISTERED. CALLS MAY ONLY BE TAKEN 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Guest Registration Forms must be used when registering three or more guests. These forms are available on the HAWL website, the Front Main Gate, and the HAWL Office. BY NOT USING THE APP OR WEB PORTAL, THE GATE BECOMES VERY BUSY AND IT DELAYS DISPATCHING URGENT CALLS FOR PATROL ASSISTANCE TO OWNERS AND CAUSES GATE ENTRY DELAYS. The Office staff is available to help all owners with the app and web portal or inputting visitors into the system. Please call the HAWL Office so we may assist you.
HAWL Guest Policy
Property owners are completely responsible for the actions of their residents and guests during the duration of their time in the community. Property owners need to understand that if they register one guest and that guest brings in additional people with them, the property owner is also responsible for their actions as well while they are in the community. Please ensure that all residents and guests are made aware of the fact that HAWL proudly boasts a family environment on all common grounds (i.e. beach, pool, parks, roads etc.) and as such will not tolerate inappropriate behavior/actions such as cursing, crude actions, violence, and so forth. Property owners/residents should remain with their guests during the duration of their visit if on any common grounds.

Beach Bag Special - Royal red shrimp, potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, butter, cocktail sauce, and crackers. $14.99 Also available: Waters Edge burger for $8.99 or cheeseburger for $9.99, both served with chips. Reservations are required (for the beach bag special) and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Reserved to-go orders must be picked up by 6:30 pm.
Snowballs at the Lodge 7:00 pm
Kona Ice will be at the Lodge lower level selling snowballs.
Band on the Beach 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Grab your beach chairs, coolers, and boats for this fun FREE family event! The band will be performing at the outdoor Lodge lower level at no charge for property owners and their guests. All ages are welcome. This is a free family friendly event and as always no glass containers are allowed at the beach or Lodge area. This performance is generously being sponsored The Montalbano Family of City Carpets, Jason Pigott of The Pigott Agency, John Pigott of WRJW, The Traina Family of Morgan Stanley, The Herring Family of Herring Ford, The Stewart Family of Premiere Insurance and Picayune Portable Buildings, The Faucett Family of Capital Surgical Solutions, and The Penton Family of Twice the Ice of Carriere and Memorial Blvd.

Father’s Day Surf or Turf
Sunday, June 15, 2025 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Enjoy either roasted prime rib for $20.99 or trout (fried or grilled) for $15.99. Both specials include a roasted potato, the vegetable of the day, and your choice of a dinner salad or a cup of soup. A kid’s meal will be available for the little ones for $6.99. Reservations must be placed by Friday, June 13, 2025. Reservations can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager
Saturday, June 28, 2025 9:00 am
This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors, as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome. This meeting will also provide the opportunity to meet the candidates running for the Board of Directors, should there be an election. If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.
Blood Drive

In response to a nationwide critical blood supply shortage, HAWL is sponsoring a blood drive through the Blood Center of Picayune on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The donation bus will at the Lodge parking lot. Call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484 for more information.
July 4th Fireworks Celebration
Friday, July 4, 2025 9:00 pm
(There must be dry conditions at 7:00 pm for show to proceed. Rain date Saturday, July 5, 2025.)
HAWL’s Fireworks Donation Goal is $6,500. This fireworks show depends solely on donations and is 100% funded by Property Owners. Donation slips are available on the HAWL website, in the HAWL Office, Waters Edge Restaurant, and Echoes.
