SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION FOR HIDE-A-WAY LAKE STUDENTS

A 501 (c)(3) non-profit public charitable corporation
Purpose for which the Foundation is formed:
a. To promote the qualities of responsibility, accountability and good citizenship to graduating high school students in the Hide-A-Way Lake Subdivision, Pearl River County, Mississippi.
b. To provide financial assistance to graduating high school students living in the Hide-A-Way Lake Subdivision, Pearl River County, Mississippi to assist them in furthering their education and career plans.
c. To encourage graduating high school students equally in careers through college education or by attendance at trade schools, or trade related employment (apprenticeship).
If you wish to assist to provide scholarship funds to students, your donation in any amount will be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible. You will receive an acknowledgment of your tax-deductible donation for your records.
By attending/participating in our fund-raising events in the fall and spring, you will be contributing to the scholarship fund.
Please complete the donation slip with your name and address. (Slips are available in the link below or in the HAWL Office.) You can either give it to the HAWL Office in our name or mail your donation with your name and address in a separate envelope to:

All these questions and more are answered in the Scholarship Application. (Applications are available in the link below or in the HAWL Office.) Work on the scholarship requirements begin at the start of the 2019/2020 school year and are awarded after the school year is complete.

UPCOMING SCHOLARSHIP EVENTS
White Linen Night
Join your family and neighbors to kick off the first ever “White Linen Night” benefiting scholarships for HAWL graduating high school seniors on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the HAWL Lodge from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Your tax deductible donation of $50 per person will provide you with an evening of food samplings, refreshment tastings, music, and a silent auction. While white linen is optional, come wearing your finest or funniest white linen attire and have a fun evening out under the stars while supporting HAWL students.
