Flea Market
RESCHEDULED - Saturday, October 12, 2024 8:00 am - 12:00pm
· The decision to cancel will be made at 3:00 pm the day before the Flea Market.
· Cost of each space (2 parking spots) is $20. (Total rented space measures 18’ x 18’).
· Limit of 2 Flea Market spaces (4 parking spots) per property owner.
· Non-typical flea market items must be pre-approved by the General Manager before renting a space.
· Participants are required to supply their own tables and may use trailers as tables if the trailer fits in the assigned space(s).
· Participants are required to remove all of their unsold items, boxes, and debris after the event.
· Setup can begin the day of the Flea Market no earlier than 6:30 am and must be completed by 7:30 am and all vehicles must be removed from the area.
· No shows will still be charged.

Brunch, Bingo, and Boutique

The HAWL Social Committee is hosting a Ladies Luncheon and Vendors Boutique in Waters Edge Restaurant on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Vendors will be showcasing their goods and services. All guests will enjoy a light lunch and ten games of bingo for $15.00 per person (tax and tip included). Shopping begins at 10:00 am and the bingo games begin at 11:00 am. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.

Spaces are $10, set up begins at 9:00am, and shopping begins at 10:00am.
HAWL-oween Trunk-or-Treat
Sunday, October 27, 2024 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Attention HAWL Ghosts and Goblins, Princes and Princesses: the HAWL-oween Trunk-or-Treat will be on Sunday, October 27, 2024, for elementary school age children who are residents’ children and grandchildren from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the Lodge parking lot. Costumes are highly encouraged.
If you would like to set up your vehicle or golf cart and hand out candy at this event, please contact the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated vehicle/golf cart. Participants are responsible for providing their own individually wrapped candy or treats, tables, decorations, etc. Set up is available as early as 2:30 pm as children will be arriving at 3:30 pm.
If you wish to donate candy for this event, bring it to the HAWL Office before October 25, 2024.
Goodwill Express Donation Station

Located in the Lodge parking lot; Goodwill will accept the
following: clothing, electronics, furniture, home decor,
household items (plate, pots, utensils, etc.), jewelry, purses, shoes, etc. Your donations help employ people to work in their stores and by funding job training programs and services.
Blood Drive

In response to a nationwide critical blood supply shortage, HAWL is sponsoring a blood drive. You can receive credit for your family through your donation. The donation bus will at

Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager

Join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a
Community Meet and Greet in Waters Edge Restaurant (upstairs of the Lodge). This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly
encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome. If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General
Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.

Veterans Appreciation Lunch

In honor of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, Waters Edge would like to show appreciation to our veterans by offering 20% off the entire check to all veterans dining with Waters Edge! The special will feature fried chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and a biscuit for $11.99. As a gesture of gratitude, all service members will receive a free dessert. Thanksgiving is fast approaching! Join Waters Edge for a Thanksgiving Buffet (served by staff) on Thursday, November 28, 2024, with two seatings:
1st Seating: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
2nd Seating: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
The menu will include: Ham, Turkey and Dressing, Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Vegetables, Rolls, Dessert, and Beverages! The cost of the dinner is $21.99 for Adults, $10.99 for Children 5-12, and 99¢ for Children 4 & Under.
To-go plates are available for $16.99 each and feature the following: ham, turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, 1 piece of fried chicken (your choice of white or dark meat), a vegetable, a dinner salad, a dinner roll, and a slice of pie. To-go plates may be picked up either between10:45 am - 11:00 am or 12:45 pm - 1 pm. Reservations are required and can
