Swim Lessons 
Each one-on-one session, taught by a certified lifeguard trained in swim instruction, will take place Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 9:45 am. These weekly lessons will run from June through July. The cost is $150.00 per session and there are only two spots available each week. Children must be potty trained and able to follow basic instructions. Lessons are nonrefundable and may only property owners may register swimmers. Lessons will be charged to the HAWL account. Call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484 to register.
Scholarship Presentation

Father's Day Surf or Turf

Enjoy either roasted prime rib for $20.99 or trout (fried or grilled) for $15.99. Both specials include a roasted potato, the vegetable of the day, and your choice of a dinner salad or a cup of soup. A kid’s meal will be available for the little ones for $6.99.

Chargrilled Oysters on the Deck

Meet the new Restaurant Manager Keith Crawford from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, while enjoying chargrilled oysters with bread and lemons: $19.99 for a dozen or $9.99 for a half dozen. Due to popularity, reservations are required. While the special is only available from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Waters Edge will be open with a limited menu from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager

Saturday, June 28, 2025, join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a Community Meet and Greet at 9:00 am in Waters Edge Restaurant (upstairs of the Lodge). This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors, as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome.
This meeting will also provide the opportunity to meet the candidates running for the Board of Directors, should there be an election.
If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.
Blood Drive

In response to a nationwide critical blood supply shortage, HAWL is sponsoring a blood drive through the Blood Center of Picayune on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.

July 4th Rib Plate

Boat Parade
Friday, July 4, 2025 Line Up: 5:30 pm; Parade: 6:00 pm
To be considered for judging, all participating boats will be issued a number at line-up to be displayed during the parade. Boats must be decorated appropriately to show off your patriotism and lined up no later than 5:30 pm at the West Marina with the parade beginning at 6:00 pm. Once the judges’ scores are totaled, the winner will receive a trophy, a $40 gift certificate to Waters Edge, and will lead the 2026 Boat Parade! Fireworks Show

The 2025 Fireworks Show is scheduled for 9:00 pm FRIDAY, JULY 4, 2025, with a rain date of Saturday, July 5, 2025. (There must be dry conditions at 7:00 pm for show to proceed.) HAWL’s 2025 Fireworks Donation Goal is $6,500.This fireworks show depends solely on donations and is 100% funded by Property Owners. Click here for the donation slip.
Beach Bag Special

Enjoy royal reds either at the restaurant (inside or on the deck) or to-go so you may enjoy music on the beach. The special includes royal red shrimp, potatoes, corn-on-the cob, butter, cocktail sauce, and crackers for $14.99. Reservations are required (for the beach bag special) and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Reserved to-go orders must be picked up by 6:30 pm. Also available: a Waters Edge burger for $8.99 or cheeseburger for $9.99, both served with chips.

Band on the Beach featuring Dead End

Grab your beach chairs, coolers, and boats for this fun FREE family event! The band will be performing at the outdoor Lodge lower level at no charge for property owners and their guests. All ages are welcome. This is a free family friendly event and as always no glass containers are allowed at the beach or Lodge area. This performance is generously being sponsored by The Jensen Companies.
Teen Pizza & Pool Bash

Attention HAWL teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17: join the Social Committee for a Teen Pizza and Pool Bash at the downstairs Lodge/pool area. Pizza and refreshments will be served at no cost; however, Property Owners are required to make reservations for their teen by July 23, 2025, by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Teens are permitted to bring one additional guest. When making reservations, please alert the HAWL Office of any food allergies.
