Labor Day Fried Chicken Plate
In celebration of Labor Day on Monday, September 2, 2019, Waters Edge will be offering a mouthwatering fried chicken plate from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Choose two pieces of white or dark meat along with potato salad and a slice of watermelon for only $8.99! Be sure to call the HAWL Office (601-798-1484) to reserve your plate.
The HAWL Flea Market will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Lodge from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
*The cost of each space (2 parking spots) is $10.
*“Rain date” is scheduled for September 14, 2019. A decision regarding postponing/cancelling the Flea Market will be made at 2:00 pm the day before the Flea Market.
*Limit of 2 spaces (4 parking spots) per property owner. (Total rented space measures 18’ x 18’).
*Non-typical flea market merchandise must be pre-approved by the General Manager before renting a space.
*Participants are required to supply their own tables and may use trailers as tables if the trailer fits in the assigned space(s).
*Participants are required to remove all of their unsold items, boxes, and debris after the event.
*Participants can begin setting up the day of the Flea Market at 6:30 am; no earlier. Setup must be completed by 7:30 am; at this time, all vehicles must be removed from the area.
*Cancellations not made by 4:00 pm September 4th will be charged.

Also on Saturday, September 7, 2019, Waters Edge Restaurant will be hosting a breakfast buffet from 8:00 am - 10:30 am.
The cost of the buffet is only $10.99 for adults, $5.99 for children 5-12, and FREE for children 4 and under.
White Linen Night
Join your family and neighbors to kick off the first ever “White Linen Night” benefiting scholarships for HAWL graduating high school seniors on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the HAWL Lodge from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Your tax deductible donation of $50 per person will provide you with an evening of food samplings, refreshment tastings, music, and a silent auction. While white linen is optional, come wearing your finest or funniest white linen attire and have a fun evening out under the stars while supporting HAWL students. Picayune On Stage Presents: The Wild Women of Winedale
Once again Picayune On Stage will perform a Jones, Hope, and Wooten play. This touching comedy focuses on three women at crossroads in their lives - the Wild sisters who live in Winedale. One sister is a nurse and has been given a new job that she hates. One sister has been working on a big project for the museum and loses her job due to a scheming assistant. The third woman is a sister-in-law who arrives in Winedale in a big mobile home. Despite all their problems there is never a dull moment in their lives. Other cast members will be involved with the museum project which ties the play together. Don’t miss this Gladys Hughes directed production on October 4th, 5th, and 6th.
