Saturday, June 6, 2026, Waters Edge will host a Crawfish Boil as well as the full menu from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Enjoy three pounds of crawfish with potatoes and corn for $15.99. Additionally, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, Hide-A-Way Lake presents a showcase of acoustic musicians playing a mix of Americana music.
Family Dinner Night

Saturday, June 13, 2026, Waters Edge will host Family Dinner Night from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. With the purchase of an adult entrée, kids 13 years and younger eat free from the Kids Menu. Along with the full menu, family friendly specials will be offered. In addition to dinner, movies will be on in the Lakeview Room as well as coloring sheets and table games for families to enjoy.

Community Meet & Greet with the General Manager

Saturday, June 27, 2026, join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a Community Meet and Greet at 9:00 am in Waters Edge Restaurant. This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome. This meeting will also provide the opportunity to meet the candidates running for the Board of Directors, should there be an election. If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.
Blood Drive

In response to a nationwide critical blood supply shortage, HAWL is sponsoring a blood drive through the Blood Center of Picayune on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. The donation bus will at the Lodge parking lot. All donors will receive a coupon for a free appetizer with the purchase of two entrees. Call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484 for more information.
Oyster Night 
Saturday, June 27, 2026 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Special: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
On Saturday, June 27, 2026, enjoy charbroiled oysters with bread and lemons. $19.99 for a
dozen or $9.99 for a half dozen. While the special is available from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Waters Edge will feature the full menu until 8:00 pm. For ordering purposes, reservations are required for oysters no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2026, by calling the HAWL Office.
Swim Lessons
Each one-on-one session, taught by a certified
lifeguard trained in swim instruction, will take place Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 9:45 am. These weekly lessons will run from June through July. The cost is $150.00 per session and there are only two spots available each week. Children must be potty trained and able to follow basic instructions. Lessons are nonrefundable and only property owners may register swimmers. Lessons will be charged to the HAWL account. Call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484 to register.
Royal Reds Beach Bag & Burger Special

Grab your beach chairs, coolers, and boats for this fun FREE family event! The band will be performing at the outdoor Lodge lower level at no charge for property owners and their guests. All ages are welcome. This is a free family friendly event and as always no glass containers are allowed at the beach or Lodge area.

Boat Parade 
Saturday, July 4, 2026 6:00 pm
Want to participate in the Boat Parade? All participating boats will be issued a number at line-up to be displayed during the parade. Boats must be decorated appropriately to show off your patriotism and lined up with their number no later than 5:30 pm at the West Marina with the parade beginning at 6:00 pm. The 2026 Boat Parade Winner, The Berlier Family, will have the honor of leading the parade! Boats should remain on the entire course so all residents may enjoy the parade and should travel slowly in order to maintain a safe distance between other boats. No tubes or other devices outside of the boat may be towed. Once the judges’ scores are totaled, the winner will receive a trophy, a $40 gift certificate to Waters Edge, and will lead the 2027 Boat Parade! Any boat, whether registered or not, that disrupts the parade by cutting in, driving through, or harassing the parading boats, will be cited by Security. Attention HAWL teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17: on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, join the Social Committee for a Teen Pizza and Pool Bash at the downstairs Lodge/pool area. Pizza and refreshments will be served at no cost; however, Property Owners are required to make reservations for their teen by July 22, 2026, by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Teens are permitted to bring one additional guest. When making reservations, please alert the HAWL Office of any food allergies.
