Blood Drive

In response to a nationwide critical blood supply shortage, HAWL is sponsoring a blood drive through the Blood Center of Picayune. The donation bus will at the Lodge parking lot. Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager

Join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a Community Meet and Greet at in Waters Edge Restaurant (upstairs of the Lodge). This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors, as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome.

Veterans Appreciation Lunch

In honor of Veterans Day, Waters Edge will host a Veterans Appreciation Lunch on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. In addition to the full menu, enjoy BBQ brisket, baked beans, boiled corn, coleslaw, and bread for $14.99. To show appreciation, veterans will receive 20% off the entire check. As a gesture of gratitude, all service members will receive a free dessert. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.

Holiday Cookie Exchange 
Sunday, November 16, 2025 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join the Social Committee for their Annual Cookie Exchange in Waters Edge Restaurant on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Participants are responsible for bringing 3 - 4 dozen homemade cookies, a copy of the recipe, and a container for transporting your exchanged cookies back home. Cookies should be displayed with a card printed with the name of the cookie and the baker’s name. Additionally, a small plate of cookie pieces should be placed by your cookies for everyone to sample. Prizes will be awarded in different categories. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. The cost to attend is $10.00 per person. Space is limited to 60 participants so make your reservation early with the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
Thanksgiving Buffet

Thanksgiving is fast approaching! Join Waters Edge for a Thanksgiving Buffet (served by staff) on Thursday, November 27, 2025, with two seatings: 1st Seating: 11:30 am - 1:00 pm; 2nd Seating: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. The menu will include: turkey, ham, gravy, yams with marshmallows, green bean casserole, corn, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, salad, desserts, and a drink. The cost of the buffet is $21.99 for Adults, $10.99 for Children 5-12, and $1.99 for Children 4 & Under.
To-go plates are available for $16.99 each and feature the following: turkey, cornbread dressing, yams with marshmallows, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and a dessert. To-go plates may be picked up either between 10:45 am - 11:00 am or 12:45 pm - 1 pm.
Reservations are required for both dine-in and to-go and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
HAWL Coloring Contest 
Pictures due Monday, December 15, 2025
Attention all artists 10 years old and younger: Use your creativity to color the picture below and have a grown up return it to the HAWL Office by Monday, December 15, 2025, so you can participate in the HAWL Coloring Contest. Prizes will be awarded across three age groups (4 years old and younger, 5 - 7 years old, and 8 - 10 years old). All coloring pages received will be displayed in the Lodge lower level in preparation for Santa’s arrival on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Adults: Complete the section with your information so we may contact you if your artist has won a prize. Only first names and ages will be displayed; phone numbers and lot numbers will be removed. Toys for Tots
HAWL is gathering donations of toys for children who might not otherwise have a Merry Christmas. We are asking individuals to help us raise enough donations to equal 1,000 toys (equal to approximately one per household). If you have any questions or are interested in participating, call the Office at 601-798-1484. Toys for Tots can only accept new, unwrapped toys or cash donations. Boxes will be available at the HAWL Office and Restaurant to drop off toys.
Breakfast with Santa and Santa’s Workshop

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Waters Edge will host a breakfast buffet (served by staff) from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. The cost is $12.99 for adults, $6.99 for children 5-12, and $1.99 for children 4 and under. Enjoy an omelet with the buffet for an additional $1.99. After breakfast, remember to visit the Lodge lower level to see Santa in his workshop from 8:00 am - 10:30 am!
Christmas Marketplace

Enjoy Christmas shopping from local vendors on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Christmas Marketplace in the downstairs area of the Lodge from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. Vendor set up begins at 7:30 am with shopping at 8:00 am. Tables are $10 each and only one table per vendor. To reserve a vendor space, call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
New Year’s Eve Dinner

Waters Edge will be hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm. The menu will include shrimp cocktail as an appetizer ($9.99), choice of entree: ribeye with a baked potato and fresh vegetables ($24.99) or redfish over crawfish creole ($18.99) and lemon icebox pie for dessert ($4.99). Space is limited; reservations are required by Tuesday December 23, 2025, and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
New Year’s Eve Party

Grab your glitzy and glamourous party attire! The Social Committee will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Party: Glitz and Glamour on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Doors open: 8:30 pm; Party: 9:00 pm - 1:00 am. DJ entertainment will be provided by David Delcambre. The cost to attend is $25 per person which includes set-ups and light snacks. Keep in mind that this event is for adults only. Call the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484 to make reservations.
Employee Christmas Fund
For the past several decades, residents of HAWL have donated to a Christmas Fund dedicated to the employees of HAWL and the guard service as a gesture of gratitude. A Christmas Fund Committee has been formed to handle the donations for the employees of HAWL and the guard service. If you wish to participate, please complete the donation form make your donation payable to HAWL Employee Christmas Fund. Donations may not be charged to the HAWL account or included with the HAWL monthly payment. Donations may be submitted in a separate envelope (preprinted envelopes are available at the HAWL Office or either Guard Gate) to either the payment box in front of Waters Edge, the HAWL Office, or the following address: HAWL Christmas Fund P.O. Box 1018 Picayune, MS 39466.
