Grab your bell bottoms and poodle skirts as you dress as your favorite decade for the Blast from Your Past Summer Dance on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm! Doors open at 6:00 pm. Start brainstorming for the Table Decorating Contest! Groups are encouraged to decorate their table in honor of the theme. DJ entertainment and a photo booth will be provided by The Blue Phoenix. A casual evening of tastings and fun for scholarships.
The Scholarship Foundation for Hide-A-Way Lake Students is proud to present the third annual White Linen Night, “An Evening under the Stars” at the Hide-A-Way Lake Lodge and Pool on October 2, 2021, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The number of tickets to the event is limited this year. Ticket costs are $50 per person in advance or $60 per person at the door.
Join your family and neighbors at this event benefiting scholarships for HAWL graduating high school seniors. Your tax-deductible donation will provide you with an evening of food samplings from local restaurants, refreshments, music, and a silent auction.

Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager

On Saturday, October 9, 2021, join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a Community Meet and Greet at 9:30 am in Waters Edge Restaurant (upstairs of the Lodge). This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome. If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.

HAWL Flea Market

Rain Date October 23, 2021
The HAWL Flea Market will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Lodge from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Cost of each space (2 parking spots) is $20.
· “Rain date” is scheduled for October 23, 2021. A decision regarding postponing/cancelling the Flea Market will be made at 2:00 pm the day before the Flea Market.
· Limit of 2 spaces (4 parking spots) per property owner. (Total rented space measures 18’ x 18’).
· Non-typical flea market merchandise must be pre-approved by the General Manager before renting a space.
· Participants are required to supply their own tables and may use trailers as tables if the trailer fits in the assigned space(s).
· Participants are required to remove all of their unsold items, boxes, and debris after the event.
· Participants can begin setting up the day of the Flea Market at 6:30 am; no earlier. Setup must be completed by 7:30 am; at this time, all vehicles must be removed from the area.
· Cancellations after 3:00 pm on October 13th will still be charged.

On Saturday, October 16, 2021, Waters Edge Restaurant will be hosting a breakfast buffet (served by staff) from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. The cost of the buffet is $11.99 for adults, $6.99 for children 5-12, and 99¢ for children 4 and under.
