Let’s bunny hop to Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. Waters Edge will be hosting a breakfast buffet (served by staff) including an omelet station and a drink. The cost is $14.99 for Adults, $7.99 for Children 5 - 12, and free for Children 4 and under. The Easter Bunny will be walking around meeting children at their tables. After breakfast, elementary school aged children will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and participate in an Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 am at the outside area of the Lodge.
Good Friday Seafood Platter, Snow Crab Night, and Easter Buffet & To-Go option are just some the exciting events Waters Edge has planned for April! Please see below for dates and information about reservations.

On Good Friday, April 3, 2026, Waters Edge will feature a Good Friday Seafood Platter for both lunch (11:00 am - 3:00 pm) and dinner (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm). In addition to the full menu, enjoy a softshell crab, catfish, and popcorn shrimp with fries, hushpuppies, and coleslaw for $19.99. Snow Crab Night
Saturday, April 4, 2026 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Acoustic Entertainment: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm)
Join Waters Edge on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and enjoy three clusters of snow crab legs with corn and potatoes for $24.99. Additionally, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, Hide-A-Way Lake presents a showcase of acoustic musicians playing a mix of Americana music.

Easter Buffet & To-Go Option

On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Waters Edge will host the Easter Buffet (served by staff) with two seatings:
1st Seating:11:30 am - 1:00 pm
2nd Seating: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
The cost of the buffet is $21.99 for adults, $9.99 for children 5 - 12, and free for children 4 & under. The buffet will include: country style ham, fried catfish, head on Gulf BBQ shrimp, chicken Alfredo, chicken tenders, cheddar and broccoli rice, honeyed carrots, salad, and dessert. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.
To-go plates are available for $16.99 each and feature: country style ham, fried catfish, chicken Alfredo, cheddar and broccoli rice, honeyed carrots, and dessert. Orders may be picked up either between 10:45 am - 11:00 am or 12:45 pm - 1:00 pm. Call the HAWL Office for reservations.

Saturday, April 11, 2026, Waters Edge will feature a specialized menu highlighting regional dishes and flavors from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. (Full menu not available, with exception of kids menu.) Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484.The menu will include:
Nachos: Seasoned ground beef over tortilla chips topped with queso blanco, lettuce, pico, and sour cream - $7.99 Enjoy seafood instead of beef - $12.99
Queso and Chips: Queso blanco and tortilla chips - $5.99
Enchiladas: Enchiladas with refried beans and Spanish rice - $11.99
Birria Tacos: Two seasoned shredded beef tacos with Oaxaca cheese and consume served with a side of refried beans and rice - $9.99
Chicken and Chorizo: Tender chicken breast stuffed with chorizo sausage and served over Spanish rice with refried beans - $11.99

Scholarships Available for 2026 Graduates
If you live in Hide-A-Way and are a graduating high school or homeschool student or will be completing your GED this spring, there are scholarships available to you through the Scholarship Foundation for Hide-A-Way Lake Students. Applications are due April 16, 2026. Scholarship applications and information are available in the HAWL Office and at hawlms.com.
Community Meet and Greet with the General Manager

Join HAWL’s General Manager Bruce Devillier for a Community Meet and Greet in Waters Edge Restaurant (upstairs of the Lodge). Everyone who attends this event will receive a coupon for either a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an entrée. This face-to-face collaboration with property owners will provide the opportunity to ask questions to the General Manager directly. This is a great time to ask any questions to prevent the spread of misinformation and to meet some of your neighbors as great neighbors make great communities. While new property owners are highly encouraged to attend, everyone in HAWL is welcome. If you wish to discuss individual matters such as an issue with a neighbor or a complaint, contact the General Manager directly at the Office to set up an appointment.

Saturday, May 9, 2026, Alexis Theatre Productions presents a Murder Mystery Dinner Show at Waters Edge. Doors open at 6:15 pm; Show at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $45.00 person and includes a three course meal, costume contest, commemorative photo, and prizes for wining sleuths. Enjoy Hawaiian style pork sliders, macadamia crusted mahi (may be substituted for chicken with advance notice), and pina colada cupcakes while solving this luau themed who done it!
