Hide-A-Way Lake Response to Coronavirus Bulletin 1

Mar 17, 2020

Hide-A-Way Lake has and will continue to take precautions as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve. Please read the following actions that are currently in place:

•   Our staff is prepared and will continue to provide services to the community. The safety of our staff and property owners is a priority above all else, now and always.
•   The Office is open regular office hours, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Please call the Office at 601-798-1484 or contact them by email at office@hawlms.net as most business can be conducted over the phone or via email. You can sign-up for online payments by submitting an ACH Form which is found under the forms tab on the HAWL website.
•   The Office/lobby area is limited to five people or less. A personal space of 6 feet should be maintained between all individuals. Please DO NOT ENTER if you are experiencing ANY type of illness.
•   All Hide-A-Way Lake group events (WOW group, exercise groups, men’s club, card groups, etc.) have been cancelled.
•   The Restaurant (Waters Edge) will be open for takeout only, no dine-in, with daily specials and a limited menu. Please call Waters Edge during normal operating hours to place your takeout order. Call the Restaurant when you arrive and the Restaurant will bring your order to the parking lot for curbside pick-up. You can pay directly or Property Owners may charge to your account.
•   For all medical calls, contact 911 before contacting HAWL Security in the appropriate situations. Security will wait for ambulance/EMT assistance at your residence.
•   The Front Main Gate visitor lane will continue to scan/verify driver’s licenses. Please help reduce the number of unneeded guests. All gate rules and entrance policies are in effect.
•   Common Grounds are open but property owners/parents, please protect your children and yourself by limiting your guests as must as possible. We are suggesting that you follow the CDC requirements of gatherings with a maximum of 10 people and staying 6 feet apart.
During this time, the volleyball net has been removed from the beach.
•   HAWL Staff is cleaning all equipment/buildings as required and taking all necessary precautions.
•   The Information Boards at the Front Main Gate and the Southgate will be used to provide additional information and guidance as necessary.

All of the above actions will remain in place for the next seven days. We will continue to monitor this situation. Your safety as well as that of our staff is of upmost importance. This response is out of concern for our community. Please remain calm and continue to pray for our community as I will.

Thank you.
