Voting Instructions Video
- Candidates’ resumes are found on the reverse side of the ballot. Full resumes are available in the July Echoes.
- Vote for two (2) candidates by placing an “X” in the slot next to the candidate’s name. Voting for fewer than the specified number of candidates will not invalidate the ballot. Write-in candidates will invalidate the ballot.
- Detach the ballot along the indicated line before mailing. The original ballot with the HAWL seal must be returned. A photocopy will invalidate the ballot.
- Place the ballot in the smaller envelope marked "A". To ensure confidentiality, do not place any identifying marks on the ballot or the "A" envelope. Owners of multiple properties should send in separate ballots for each property owned. (Place only one ballot in each "A" envelope.)
- Seal envelope "A" and place into the larger envelope marked "B".
- Property owner must sign name, as shown on HAWL signature card, in the upper left hand corner of the "B" envelope along with their lot number. Preprinted return address stickers do not count as a signature.
- Place sufficient postage on the "B" envelope before mailing. Unstamped mail, or those not bearing a signature or lot number cannot be accepted. Only those ballots received at the SPECIFIED POST OFFICE BOX will be tabulated. Do not send or bring ballot to the Lodge office or payment boxes.
- Allow enough time for the ballots to reach the Election Committee as they are picked up at the Post Office on Saturday morning, July 18, 2026. Ballots received after that time cannot be counted.
- Property owners must be current on all HAWL dues and fees on Election Day.
