HAWL Newsletter 7/8/2026 – 7/14/2026
Come out to Waters Edge for Mississippi Night this Saturday, July 11, 2026. Waters Edge will feature a specialized menu highlighting regional dishes and flavors from our home state from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Enjoy a limited menu featuring fried pickles, mermaids on horseback, bone-in fried catfish, stuffed shrimp Florentine po’boy, Mississippi pot roast, and Mississippi mud pie. Waters Edge will also be offering limited menu items.
HAWL, check out some of the exciting events and delicious specials planned for the month of July! Oyster Night will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Calling all HAWL teens ages 13 -17 for the Teen Pizza and Pool Bash on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Oyster Night
Saturday, July 18, 2026 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, enjoy charbroiled oysters with bread and lemons. $19.99 for a dozen or $9.99 for a half dozen. While the special is available from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Waters Edge will feature the full menu until 8:00 pm. For ordering purposes, reservations are required for oysters no later than Wednesday, July 15, 2026, by calling the HAWL Office.
Teen Pizza & Pool Bash
Friday, July 24, 2026 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Attention HAWL teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17: on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, join the Social Committee for a Teen Pizza and Pool Bash at the downstairs Lodge/pool area. Pizza and refreshments will be served at no cost; however, Property Owners are required to make reservations for their teen by July 22, 2026, by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Teens are permitted to bring one additional guest. When making reservations, please alert the HAWL Office of any food allergies.
Deck Grill at Waters Edge

Join Waters Edge on Saturday, July 25, 2026, and enjoy a Crab Boiled Wings Platter grilled on the deck featuring party wings crab boiled and then grilled to perfection served with a side of roasted potatoes , and fresh vegetables for $10.99. While the special is only available from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm, the full menu will be available from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Snow Crab Night with Live Music

Join Waters Edge on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and enjoy snow crab legs with corn and potatoes for $27.99. Additionally, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, Hide-A-Way Lake presents a showcase of acoustic musicians playing a mix of Americana music. Family Dinner Night

Saturday, August 8, 2026, Waters Edge will host Family Dinner Night from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. With the purchase of an adult entrée, kids 13 years and younger eat free from the Kids Menu. Along with the full menu, family friendly specials will be offered. In addition to dinner, movies will be on in the Lakeview Room as well as coloring sheets and table games for families to enjoy. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office.
Asian Dinner at Waters Edge

Saturday, August 15, 2026, Waters Edge will only feature a specialized menu highlighting Asian dishes both traditional and with a twist from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling the HAWL Office at 601-798-1484. Enjoy a limited menu featuring egg rolls, gyoza, Korean beef BBQ, faux BBQ eel, and fresh tuna.
Grilled Redfish on the Waters Edge Deck
